The word, Tirupati is derived from a Sanskrit word, Tripathi, which means the sacred abode of Lord Vishnu. It is a temple town, located in the Chittoor District of Andhra Pradesh. Known to be one of the oldest and holiest places in India, it bustles with pilgrims from all over the world. Heading towards the temple, people will hear priests, chanting, and the bells ringing, making the experience peaceful. It is also home to many universities and institutions, bringing lots of students here. This place is famous for wooden toys, made from a rare type of red wood. Summers are experienced by the local people from March to June, with the advent of rains in July, followed by winters from November till February.
